I just received confirmation from the Home Office that my application for naturalisation has been accepted, and I will be ceremonially sworn in shortly1. Result!
Now, questions from a not uninterested party: when did you start the process (i.e. how long did it all take)? Was it all a huge shlep? And once you're sworn in, how long do you expect it will take to get a passport? I'm trying to work out whether it's worthwhile to get a Brit passport as well as (but a year before) a Swiss one.
